Introduction
This tutorial will show you how to install qBitTorrent on your Ubuntu Shell. BitTorrent is an application that provides a free alternative to other Torrent applications and is available for most operating systems.
Install qBittorrent
Before we begin, update all system repositories by typing the following into the terminal:
sudo apt update -y && sudo apt upgrade -y
Add the qBittorrent PPA by entering the following command:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:qbittorrent-team/qbittorrent-stable
Enter the following command to install qBitTorrent:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install qbittorrent
You can now open qBitTorrent from the menu. For additional instructions, you can go to the qBitTorrent website.
